Ultraviolet Stained Glass creates custom stained glass windows and doors using a range of traditional and modern techniques. We also design framed stained glass panels for clients who prefer movable or temporary installations.

We believe that houses are holy and deserve lasting adornment to enhance their beauty, enjoyment, and value.

About the Artist – Nicole Hansen

​

Principal artist Nicole Hansen works closely with each client to create original designs that celebrate both homes and public spaces.

She studied traditional stained glass painting privately with Sophie D’Souza at her studio in London. In 2024, she received the James A. Whitney scholarship, which she used to study with Vermont stained glass artist Debora Coombs.

She originated and hosts a monthly meetup for Portland stained glass professionals. Nicole is actively building a community of mentors, peers, and students dedicated to advancing the art and craft of stained glass in the 21st century.

Nicole is a member of the American Glass Guild and The Stained Glass Association of America
